This year we worked with the Ruddington Village Community Partnership on their 2024 awards, celebrating the best of Ruddington. We spent time in the area filming the winners and runners-up across 7 catergories.

This project required a slightly more agile set up as the schedule meant we were backwards and forwards to the area, often with not a lot of time to film interviews and b-roll.

For a lot of the b-roll we ended up shooting with natural light on the Blackmagic 6K Pro with the Canon 24-105mm L series lens. The interviews were also shot on the Blackmagic, but with the Sigma 18-35mm Art Lens and boomed with the trusty Rode NTG3.

Portrait versions of the videos were released across the awards social channels in the run up to the event, with the fullscreen versions, available below, played on the night.
